This ad has been bugging everyone, atleast me for sure, the past few days, on the Idiot box.
and so I thought let me go look into their website..and see what this is about..
But first...
Yaaayy...Im below the avg..and I'm contributing to the crusade against Global warming..
Your Total Carbon Footprint : 6,073 kg of carbon dioxide
The average persons carbon footprint is about 10500 kg of CO2 emissions each year.
To stop global warming every person needs to reduce their emissions to 2500 kg per year.
To do this isn't as hard as you may think. To start with you should:
1. Buy your electricity from a renewable energy supplier (link coming soon)
2. Reduce the number of flights you take
3. Car share or use public transport more
4. Use less energy at home and at work.
By doing your bit and getting your friends to also do their bit, we will be able to save the planet.

Hi vi. Nice post here. This problem has to be addressed at the macro and micro level. I live in a small Army township. I can, and do, cycle around. So I am able to have a couple of 'no petrol' days per week. I hire a car whenever I need one, which is not more than 5 times a year. My scooter takes me around town. I am single and never had any kids so I have not contributed to future consumption. But I cannot see this as a solution, can I? Efforts have to be made at the governmental level to ensure that our existence becomes 'satvik' in the true sense of the word. Every person should be discerning that is very necessary but there are many simple things which the government can ensure by simple legislation.
facial, haircut, boots, jeans. Now wear the boots and jeans, take a picture of yourself and put it up on your blog so we all can give you our humble, decent, "expert" comments. :-) have fun!
Hello Vi
Wish you and evrybody in your family a very happy 2006
